It's been a real treat for us to answer e-mails and questions for our Jamaican Beach Party. We have couples going, groups of friends, even families that are giving the trip to Jamaica as a Christmas gift! We've booked a bunch of rooms directly thru Apple Vacations so the rate is really cheap for an all-inclusive vacation. The deadline to book has been extended to Friday December 26th.
Check out the pictures of Iberostar. All rooms have balconies and gorgeous views. You can walk a few steps to the beach or swim in one of the pools that have a swim-up bar. Enjoy some Reggae music on the beach and some great food at one of their restaurants. When I visit a new place, I always check out Trip Advisor. It's a great website for traveling with reviews from people that have actually stayed at these places, not a description from the hotel executives. All opinions are represented good and bad. This is a new place so some of the negative comments seem to point to the early stages last year before the resort was finished. This is a quiet place (except when we host our beach party!) but if you have a thirst for night life there's a few places to party downtown. There's a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville close by with some shopping opportunities that are a short cab ride away. You're eating choices range from a Japanese theme, Cajun food, and a steakhouse.
